Austin Snyder / Founder
Austin’s background spans financial services, experience as an investment adviser, and more than a decade as a real estate investor. Over that time, he has bought, managed, and renovated numerous properties. That combination shapes his approach at Lone Star Capital: listen first, understand the circumstances behind an opportunity, and then develop an offer tailored to the seller’s priorities and the property’s fundamentals. His focus is on clear conversations, thoughtful structures, and practical execution—not forcing every seller into the same transaction.

Brownwood, Texas / Single-Family
An alternative to foreclosure
We purchased a single-family home on creative terms, helping the seller avoid foreclosure and receive far more than a cash offer. Instead of her credit being damaged from a foreclosure, we were able to help her credit go up drastically.
Fort Worth, Texas /Multi-family Student Housing
Upfront proceeds. Ongoing payments.
We used partners to purchase a 10-building student housing facility near TCU (Fort Worth, TX). We combined a substantial upfront down payment with seller financing for a portion of the seller’s equity. The structure provided proceeds at closing and ongoing monthly payments rather than an entirely conventional purchase. The owner saved drastically on taxes by setting this up as an installment sale and was also able to get a higher offer.
Brownwood, Texas / Single-Family
A staged path to a higher sale price
We acquired a distressed home on creative terms, renovated it, and refinanced within one year. The structure supported a higher agreed sale price while helping the seller avoid prolonged marketing, agent commissions through a direct negotiation, and the credit damage the seller sought to avoid. They received a higher price, improved credit, and a quick balloon that allowed them to buy a new home within one year.
